We're all losing our minds!
When I realized I had 200+ online accounts and I could not remember all the login information, I had to do something for myself to prevent more password chaos.
I do my best to help friends with their computers and other technology problems. Many times this requires passwords. When friends do not have their passwords at hand I'm more likely to ignore future requests for help.
When I do paid consulting, I bill by the hour. You would not believe how much money I've made sitting around waiting for someone to find a password. One guy took 30 minutes to find the password to his router.
My Password Therapy guide is in PDF form that you download after purchase.
In my introduction I discuss reasons many people have never thought about. Aside from eliminating frustration, there are many other reasons, including emergencies.
I do not leave you wondering what to do. I provide numerous, specific ways in which you can organize and manage passwords. These suggestions range from very low-tech to more-tech. If any of my suggestions do not work, they will give you ideas on how you develop your own system.
I explain why updates are important, aside from reducing stress and frustration.

Bruce Miller is my name. I've been using technology for decades to reduce costs. I was using wireless Internet before there was Wi-Fi! I spent 20 years writing about technology for regional and national publications. I spent another 14 years as an IT Manager for a professional association that overlooked Times Square in New York City. Now days I consult with individuals and organizations on networking, writing and editing, and how to cut costs.
